Dress Code Guidelines 2013



Proper Ballet Dress Attire

Dress code Leotard (depending on your class level)

Pink Tights (NO holes or runs!!!)
~~~
Pink Ballet Shoes or Pointe Shoes
~~~
No Sports Bras – If you need extra support, either wear a secondary
black leotard, a nude leotard, or a nude dance bra with clear straps
(all of these could be bought at a dance store)

Hair should be properly secured back into a bun… with hair pins!
~~~
No jewelry or gum. Both could hinder your dancing.

Proper Attire for Other Dance Classes

Dress code Leotard (depending on your class level) or Black leotard
~~~
Pink Tights (NO holes or runs!!!)
~~~
Proper Dance Shoes:
Jazz Booties for Jazz, Tap Shoes for Tap, Foot Undies for Modern,
and Sneakers or Jazz Shoes for Hip Hop
~~~
No Sports Bras Preferred. Fitted cover ups may be worn in some
of these classes. You should ask your instructor to make sure.

Hair should be secured tightly, either in a bun or in a pony tail.
Again, talk to your instructor to see which he or she prefers.
~~~
No jewelry or gum. Both could hinder your dancing.


These Dress Code Guidelines should be followed at all times.
These guidelines are put in place to show respect for your instructor,
your classmates, and for yourself.

• Gentlemen, please check with your teacher to be sure your attire is appropriate.

When attending or leaving class, you must wear a cover-up.
No one should be walking outside in just a leo and tights!
