Congratulations to 8th grader Lauren Matthews for winning
Fourth Place in the Botany category, Junior Division, and to 9th grader
Claire Ponder for winning a special recognition ribbon in the
Computer Science category, Senior Division at the Florida State
Science and Engineering Fair in Orlando this March.

Congratulations to 10th grader Hudson Pearce and 9th graders
Jamie Barnes and Claire Ponder for being recognized for very high
grade point averages at the annual Anne T. Mitchell Award ceremony
at Niceville High School in March.

Congratulations to 9th grader Claire Ponder for winning
First Place in the Computer Science category, Senior Division,
and 8th grader Lauren Matthews for winning First Place in the Plant Science category, Junior Division, at the East Panhandle Science Fair.
Their projects will continue on to the State Science Fair this spring.

Congratulations to senior Georgia Pearce for being selected
as a National Merit Scholarship Finalist at Niceville High School!
She has also been chosen to compete with the Okaloosa County
Academic Team in the Commissioner's Challenge at Walt Disney World
this spring.

Congratulations to Addie Winjum for being accepted
into the Orlando School of Ballet Summer Intensive!

Congratulations to Brittany Swain for winning a role
in the NWFSC Production of "Les Miserables" this summer!

Congratulations to senior Anna Hall for being awarded
a very generous scholarship and Honors Program admission
to Tulane University in New Orleans as well as University of Florida!

Congratulations to senior Georgia Pearce for being selected
as a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist at Niceville High School!
She was also honored for earning a 36 on the ACT, which is the
highest composite score possible, and only achieved by 781 students
out of the 1.66 million who take the test each year.

Congratulations to senior Anna Hall for being recognized
as a National Merit Scholarship Commended Student at Niceville High School!
